just a thought and im sorry to pose a question on your question...i took the same approach you did with the dbq. i said they were both completely different...however the documents related to the 1930s didnt help the argument that i wanted to make. only one of them did. so i used 6 documents, 5regarding the 1920s and 1 regarding the 1930s...and then for the 1930s paragraph it was essentially 100% outside information that had nothing to do with the documents. i talked about greater restraints on teh economy, FDR prolonging the depression and how at the end of the decade unemployment rate was still above 20%, bread lines, and just some other info that was unrelated to the docs...it proved my point was totally unrelated to those docs they gave. do you think that was ok?

I listen to a wide range of music from jazz to rap to good old rock n roll., I'm 23 and I definitely think that music is deteriorating simply because it has become more of a big bucks entertainment industry rather than about the art of making music. plus all this technology had changed the way music sounds. i prefer oldies stuff from the 80s or even the 70s. there are some good artists these days, but they are rare in my opinion.

My school caught me driving with only a permit to school. they called a cop and he said I can't get my license until I'm 18. Trying to create a growth loop in java?

In java, I'm completing a class for a game that creates circles and makes them grow at a certain rate until they reach their maximum radius and pop, unless the user clicks on the circle to pop it themselves. the rest of the program is written, however the class i need to write is the one which creates the circles and defines the growth amount. I have gotten through creating circle based on given points and radii, with a grow method that states the current radius becomes the starting radius + growth amount. however, I can't figure out how to loop the circle back to the grow method IF the current radius hasn't reached its given pop radius. I was required to create a boolean method that answers the question "has the circle popped?". Do i need to create a loop within this method or declare it somewhere else? how do i return to the grow method if it hasn't popped? I'm not sure about the actual time increments, I can play with that after i get the program running, i just need to get the growth function working (i can start using an increment of 1000ms).

I live in Virginia and here a drunk in public is a prepayable fine.... If I pay it I know I'll be considered guilty. I'm on UNSUPERVISED probation for a reckless handling of a firearm charge. If I pay the fine and am found guilty am my probation is revoked can they make me serve the whole sentance including the time I already served? I was given 60 days total and am considered to have served 20.(It was cut in half for good behavior) So I'm looking at 40 days the judge suspended. If I am found guilty of a probation violation can he make me serve 60 days even though I technically already served 20 and only have 40 days hanging over my head? And can these be cut in half? Hi im currently in my third year in university and im applying for student finance. Basically i come from Ireland (well pretty much right on the border to northern Ireland) and go to university in Belfast northern Ireland. If not i would of had to go through there EU section. Both my parent work and live in the republic of Ireland. And there income is 32,000 euro. 3 Months ago I got an MIC (minor in consumption), I never took a brreathalizer, was given any tests, did not admit to drinking or anything. I pleaded no contest because at the time I could not afford a lawyer, I had 175 dollar fine, 8 hours community service, 8-hours Alcohal Awareness Class, and a 30 day suspension of my license (seems a little harsh for a 1st offense). So nobody ever told me that I could not take the AA class online ( Which was what I was relying on) .. After a friend telling me that I couldnt do it online i called the Municipal court, they told me that online classes were not acceptable, so i started scrambling around trying to find a class in an actual classroom. No openings. ANYWHERE. So I got Reason 4 the other day, and I really enjoy it. My only problem is that I cannot figure out how to run .wav files in Dr.Rex loop or Redrum Drum Computer. Mobo bios / video card issue?

Have a Geforce 9800 gtx vid card, often while im playing games the card should be able to handle things will freeze up and i get a nv4_infinite_loop or disp_driver blue screen, driver for the card is up to date. Everyone says "you can have your college acceptance revoked if your GPA drops significantly," and I know this is true, but I am wondering which GPA everyone is referring to. I know any and all GPA's are considered, however is it the cumulative GPA, from all 4 years, that they look at the drop for, or only senior year compared to the others? Need help going from fresh water fishing to salt water fishing?

You can use your freshwater gear, just remember to do a fresh water wash down and then oil your reel each trip. Gear degrades a lot faster in saltwater use versus freshwater use. Fishing from a kayak, I would stay in the flats and work silver or gold spoons for a while. You can use prawns or any cut bait as well. Just fish it off the bottom, no need for bobbers or chum. You should probably be using between a 1 and 3 oz weight depending on you string rating and the weight of your rod/reel. I usually use a steel leader due to some saltwater fish having sharp teeth that can cut your line. Don't try and make it too scientific, it's basically the same as freshwater fishing but with a few different tweeks to catch specific fish. Hope this helps.

What do you think about Anime and Cartoons? Which one is better?

I'm not trying to argue my point and/or change people's mind about the topic. I just want to know what you think about anime and cartoons and which one is better. I like both anime and cartoons but I say anime is better. I grew up with the classic cartoons and anime (Pokemon) but cartoons have changed over the past few years (aka to much 3d graphics and not enough 2d graphics). Anime has never changed (ok maybe a little but not as much as cartoons have). Plus in anime you can say and do more that you cannot do and say in cartoons thus making anime shows like K-ON! much more funny then the comedy cartoons over here in america. Plus the facial expressions (like a cloud of smoke coming out of the characters head) are way better and anime is never over drawn but cartoons cannot find the middle (aka fan boy and chum chum: over drawn and Phineas and Ferb: under drawn). Social security disability, first case denied, second approved, both remanded from appeals council?

i filed an application for social security and was denied on appeal. my attorney immediately filed a new claim and it was approved within 6 months on the first attempt. he also appealed to the appeals council on the denied claim. now both claims have been remanded to the same district where the first claim was denied and he said my benefits could be revoked since they are now ruling on both claims. when ss approved the second claim, they cited "overwhelming new evidence" despite the fact i hadn't seen a doctor or had a new test done since the first application's appeal hearing, which had been 6 months prior. has anyone ever had this experience and what was the outcome?

Will an upgrade to windows 7 fix a windows vista update reboot loop?

My computer running Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit is stuck in an endless reboot loop after displaying "Installing Updates: Step 3 of 3. 0%". I checked online and it said the reboot loop is caused by a faulty update. The official fix for it was booting from the original install DVD and then using system restore to go back to an earlier point. The problem is that my computer didn't find any points to restore from and I am now stuck with a rebooting computer that won't let me access any of my files or even get to the login screen. I was wondering, if I perform an upgrade (NOT a clean install) from windows vista to windows 7, will it fix the reboot loop? Supposedly I can just boot from the windows 7 Install DVD without logging into vista. I cannot do a clean install or a reinstall of vista because I have all my music and documents that aren't backed up. please help. Any other working fixes for this problem are also appreciated.

So i just gonna jump right into it. I've been seeing this girl for about a year at this point. Also in the past I have had c's and c-'s on my transcript so I don't think a d+ is a drastic drop. But on the other hand I read so many any articles that says if you have any d's it should be a cause for concern? Should I be worried? Please some good answers...

My BFF & I are always getting into trouble together. We like to skip school and go hang out places. We've both been busted before for shoplifting and recently we were back in court due to truancy and a new shoplifting charge each. The judge decided to revoke the probation we'd received from the first shoplifting charge. He told us he could either send us to the detention center while we await our hearing on our new charges, or we could stay out if we and our parents agreed to certain terms. So what happened is, in order to make sure we stay out of trouble, we are to remain handcuffed together until the hearing. When this first began, school wasn't out, so a police officer would meet us at the steps to our high school and lock us together for the day. That way, we wouldn't be tempted to cut since we couldn't really go anywhere like that. We had most of the same classes anyway, so we only had to work out a couple transfers. Once school was out for the day, an officer would meet us outside to free us. On the weekends, we had to stay cuffed together for 24 hours a day. The chain on these cuffs is long enough that one of us can stand outside a bathroom stall or stand in the shower with the curtain drawn when we use the bathroom at one of our houses. Now that school is out, we're like this 24/7. We alternate sleeping over at each other's place, so each of our families get to see us. The only time we are now allowed to be separated is for 30 minutes in the morning while we shower and get dressed. Surprise checks insure we're never apart for any other reason. If we get caught out of them, we'll go straight to juvie. Our hearing is FINALLY coming up and that leads me to my question. Our lawyer says the judge could either send us to juvie for a year (since that was the length of our probation) or we could opt to stay like this for that length of time, or perhaps shorter. I don't know what to do. I don't really wanna go to juvie, but as much as I love my friend I don't think we wanna stay like this either. What would you do?

So I have heard 3, 4, 5, and 6 biking miles to 1 running mile. As of right now, I can't start running due to a still healing injury, however I can bike. The course I am currently using is 1.02 miles, and I just do that loop over and over. The elevation changes for this loop go as follows: from the start to .2 it is a slight downhill (1130 to 1120 ft). From .2 to .7 it is a gradual uphill (1120 to 1180ft). From .7 back to the start it is a downhill (1180 to 1130ft). Around how many biking miles on this course would be equal to 1 running mile? The father has a girlfriend that has a child who he says he is adopting (hopefully a smart judge will throw the request out). My childs father really only gets a job to support a girlfriend. He will not voluntarily pay child support, even though his last job paid $1100 a week. He states $336 a month is too much to pay in support, yet he lives in a state with very low cost of living and is adopting someone elses child??? My daughter has dental issues that come from her dads family (they have false teeth by 30) and I spend about $1500 a yr after insurance to fix her teeth...my other child has perfect teeth thankfully! Monthly her meds run $65, she sees a counselor weekly because of issues she has with her father leaving, daycare is 250 a month, and that isn't taking into consideration food, clothing, and basic necessities. Her father tried to tell me its my obligation to pay for her to travel alone to see him which I can't afford and am not going to allow him with her alone since he tried to kidnap her 4 years ago. I feel my daughter would be better off without him sporadically calling saying he will visit, telling her I'm mean, saying he is adopting a child, and threatening me. He can't afford to take me to court for not allowing her to visit alone but i'm thinking termination of visitation rights will actually help my daughter. This guy has mental issues and won't take meds for it, also was set to receive disability benefits from army and social security which would have paid child support but he didn't want to finish his appointments, and he's tried to kill his mother.

So me and this friend (her name will be Jen), we had fallen out this week. My friend is on probation for fel drug charge, he was arrested last night for DWI... what will happen?

he is real close to being done with his probation time, however, he had a few mess ups at the beginning of his probation (failed UA) but he got back on track and has done very good, not missed a meeting, payment, etc. and then last night he had a few drinks after working for almost 36 hours straight, he was tired and knew he didn't need to drive so he pulled off the side of the road, put truck in park and leaned his seat back and was gonna sleep a while before he drove anymore. a cop pulled up after he was asleep, woke him up asked him to get out and do field sobriety tests, he complied, but refused to blow so he was arrested and taken to jail for DWI. what will happen to him? will his probation be revoked and he have to serve prison/jail time? iam an egyptian citizen that lives in the US since end of 2006, i used to live in egypt at the time my dad was livin here in the US, my dad is a green card holder and he petitioned for me to immigrate to the US back in 2006 when i was 19 years old, my case was (unmarried child under 21 of a permanent resident parent) it usually takes up to 3 years process, my dad recieved the confirmation from the immigration then from there we waited till i get my interview after 3 years, all of the sudden like within a month my dad recieved a letter to pay a visa fee cuz the immigration already processed the application, we were surprised cuz we knew that it has to take up to 3 years process and not just 30 days, my dad went to the attorny and paid the fees, a few month after that the immigration requested my personal documents from my dad to submit like BIRTH CERTIFICATE, SCHOOL CERTIFICATE, POLICE RECORD....etc.. which my dad had submited, finally i recieved my interview letter in egypt which i went to the amirican embassy in egypt to do my interview and obtain my green card Visa to immigrate to the US, i couldnt believe that it took way less time then what it suppose to take, but i still went and met the interviewer and every thing went fine, he didnt really ask me much question then he just made me sign some papers and give him my passport, i recieved my visa and then finally came to the US end of 2006 and recieved my green card in the mail, my dad then decided to leave the US and relax in Egypt cuz he started to be ill, he had left me all the personal documents for my case and some other miscillinious, one day i checked these documents till i discovered the BIG shocking, i found the that the immigration had mistakely issued another case beside the one that i originally had and it was ( unmarried child under 21 of a US CITIZEN parent), my did never had a US CITIZEN, and when i asked him about that he said he didnt know what that is and he had submited the application tellin the truth that he is a Green card holder and he submited a copy of his green card to the immigration, so now i came to the US as iam a son of a US citizen dad which is not true, i didnt know what to do i never lied to them and so is my dad, its A HUGE immigration mistake, but here iam in the US for almost 5 years, iam now about to apply for my US citizenship and iam really worring if i do so cuz they will have to open my file and they find out that my dad was just a parmanent and not a citizen, my dad now passed the way last year and if i get my green card revoked i might face a deportation, i really dont know what to do to correct this, it wasnt even my fault or my dad, its the immigration, so please suggest what to do?
