Why are new cartoons so odd(10 points)?

Yesterday my brother who is 10 was watching some stupid show called man then he watches fan boy and chum chum,planet sheen, adventure time with fin and jake and flapjack these shows are so odd and weird. what happen to the old cartoons such as scooby-doo, powerpuff girls, Dexter's lab, and all the other old cartoons.that's what kids need not nasty cartoons with ugly chacaters .
