A friend is having a crisis of faith. Help?

Lucifer is outside my window disguised as a wolf right now and he won't stop moaning about how his spiritual confusion. He wants forgiveness but he doesnt wanna appear weak and blah blah blah. I being agnostic, am not sure what to tell him. Anybody got advice for my good chum?
