Anyone know how to fix incredible htc from constantly rebooting?

I bought a brand new incredible HTC from a friend. Its only 3 days old but keeps getting stuck in a reboot loop. I have already had it reset at Verizon with no luck. Plus I bought it from a friend so Verizon said that voided the manufacturer warranty so they wont replace it. Can anyone help?
